PDF Guard is a web application, available at getpdfguard.com/app, for editing PDF files locally in your browser. All document processing happens on your own device — the app page is protected by a strict browser security policy (Content-Security-Policy: connect-src 'self') that technically prevents your documents from ever being sent anywhere. The free plan includes core tools (up to 20 pages per document); PDF Guard Pro unlocks unlimited pages and advanced tools under a paid subscription ($10/year or $3/month). A separate PDF Guard Chrome extension exists as a different product and is not covered by these Terms.

Buying a Pro license grants you a personal, non-exclusive right to use the software for personal or commercial work. A license may be activated on up to 3 of your own devices at a time. Keys may not be resold, shared, or redistributed.
You agree not to reverse-engineer, circumvent licensing, resell access, or use PDF Guard for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or revoke a license used in breach of these terms.
Your documents are processed only on your device and are never uploaded or transmitted to us. We have no access to their contents and no responsibility for their contents or your backups — please keep your own copies.
All purchases are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, and any applicable sales tax or VAT, and is the seller of record on your receipt. We never see or store your card details.
The software is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability arising from these Terms or your use of PDF Guard is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You may stop using PDF Guard and cancel your subscription at any time, self-service, at getpdfguard.com/pricing. We may terminate or suspend a license for breach of these Terms. Termination does not affect refund rights you already had.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your own country of residence.
